An ancient creature accidentally unearthed on Malastare during an intense battle of the Clone Wars, the Zillo Beast was a monster of legend. The enormous animal proved to be nearly invulnerable to Republic weaponry, prompting intense interest from Chancellor Palpatine. At his order, the creature was incapacitated and transported to a supposedly secure research facility on Coruscant. The Zillo Beast would not be caged, however, and it broke free from its restraints, running wild through the crowded thoroughfares of the capital, leaving swaths of destruction in the wake of its titanic rampage.

Devour: If a Zillo Beast hits with its Bite attack against a Gargantuan or smaller opponent, it can automatically make a Grapple check at its full bonus as a Free Action. If the Grapple check is successful, the Zillo Beast can begin Devouring its target.
The creature being Devoured takes 1d8+22 points of damage each round at the start of its turn, before it takes any actions. When the creature reaches 0 Hit Points, it is swallowed by the Zillo Beast and continues to take 1d6 points of Acid damage each round at the start of its turn. This Acid damage ignores Damage Reduction and is also applied to all materials, be they organic or inorganic.
Lightsaber Resistance: A Zillo Beast retains its Damage Reduction against Lightsabers.
Rage: Once per day, a Zillo Beast can fly into a Rage as a Swift Action. While Raging, the Zillo Beast temporarily gains a +5 Rage bonus on melee attack rolls and melee damage rolls, but cannot use Skills that require patience and concentration, such as Mechanics, Stealth, or Use the Force. A fit of Rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to 5 + the Zillo Beast's Constitution modifier (25).
At the end of its Rage, the Zillo Beast moves -1 Persistent step along the Condition Track. The penalties imposed by this Persistent Condition persist until the Zillo Beast takes at least 10 minutes to recuperate, during which time the Zillo Beast can't engage in any strenuous activity.
Rend: If a Zillo Beast hits with both of its Claw attacks in the same turn, it Rends its opponent for an additional 2d6 points of damage.
