Thermal Sights are scope-like attachments that allow a user to ignore all concealment, including total concealment, when using the aim action. However, thermal sights are large and bulky, and have poor range. When aiming with a thermal sight, the wielder only gains the benefit of ignoring concealment up to a maximum if 20 squares. Thermal scopes can only be mounted on weapons of medium size or larger.
A thermal scope requires an energy cell ot operate. Installing a thermal scope requires 10 minutes and a DC 10 Mechanics check.
