Also, The Galactic Republic could use some of the Galactic Empire units and vehicles from The Dark Times period - though many of those should have Prototype General Template and Prototype Vehicle Template. That would be especially fitting in late The Rise of the Empire Era, when the Empire is already officially established, but the army is only partially reformed; or in the "off the rails" variant, where the Republic still exists in time period what supposed to be The Dark Times (like, for example, if players killed Darth Sidious), and technology starts to develop in strange ways, resulting in mix of Republic and Imperial vehicles and units. 95.71.72.239 15:22, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
Actually, in the the "Republic still exist" timeline, tech will get even more messed up, as in that case, it will result of The Galactic Republic, The Galactic Empire and The Rebel Alliance rosters getting mixed, with chance of The Confederacy of Independent Systems roster getting into mix (if Republic uses stolen and reverse-engineered tech to make CIS vehicles, and/or some CIS worlds and remnants decide to join The Republic while keeping some of the unique tech). In that timeline, after The Sith gets purged (basically, after inverted Order 66 - where, instead of purging The Jedi, The Clone Army and The Jedi purge most darksiders), the "Dark Resistance"/"The Insurgent Alliance", lead by The Sith (probably by resurrected Darth Sidious), and it's roster is also going to be messed up - it's likely what it will have mix of The Confederacy of Independent Systems and various crime syndicates, with parts of The Galactic Republic, The Galactic Empire and The Rebel Alliance rosters (and possibility of whole roster getting mixed in). 95.71.72.239 15:52, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- Even more exotic variant - The Galactic Empire is formed, but has The Jedi in charge, with ideology of "controlling the Galaxy with an iron fist for it's own good", and such country will be called The Jedi Empire. Possibly, but not required, is what instead of straight-up dictatorship like Sith Empires, The Jedi Empire will be some form of socialism, though other ideologies are possible. Most of The Sith are purged, and The Insurgent Alliance under control of remaining ones is formed - what is mix of a remnant of The Confederacy of Independent Systems and of a dark counterpart of The Rebel Alliance; it is technically a "democracy", but a militaristic, oppressive, "winged" one what is as cruel as Imperial dictatorship, or even worse than it. 95.71.72.239 19:19, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

- What makes it different in movies is, while in movies The Galactic Empire as a country was stronger than The Rebel Alliance, and The First Order was stronger than The Resistance, in "Republican" timeline the The First Order/The Insurgent Alliance is weaker than The Galactic Republic/The Jedi Empire, with this timeline's Order having worse technologies, ill-equipped military, smaller Scale, poor economy, completely ruined reputation, awful capital-something building, and probably coordination issues. In short, The Galactic Republic would be a technologically advanced superpower with their own Death Star equivalent, while The First Order/The Insurgent Alliance would be ragtags, with outdated tech (for example, instead of Stormtroopers you would likely see bandits in filthy rags with archaic or junker vehicles). 95.71.72.239 19:19, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
