TIE-E M3-0

Sienar Fleet Systems' TIE Experimental Project turns out at least five working models: TIE-Experimental M1 through M5. These TIE-Es are built on standard TIE designs but modify the engines, weapons, and maneuvering thrusters to create faster, stronger ships, including a few capable of Hyperspace travel. Each of these experimental craft is controlled remotely by a trained pilot aboard a Beta-Class ETR-3 Escort Ship.

The TIE Experimental M3, also known as the TIE Warhead, is a variation of the TIE Interceptor, removing the Laser Cannons to instead add devastating Missile Launchers on the outer wings. These warheads allow the TIE-3 M3 to perform devastatingly well against Space Transports and Capital Ships, but prove less adapt at Dogfighting than their original designs.
