Purrgil are a semi-sentient deep space species of whale-like creatures with several strong tentacles. They vary in size from that of small starfighters or freighter but several specimens are known to rival Star Destroyers. They feed on energy-dense gases and are capable of traveling through Hyperspace. Considered a dangerous pest by many spacers, these giants played a mythological role in inspiring the first Hyperspace explorers to seek their fortune across the stars.
This Hazard represents a particularly imposing and irritated Purrgil. Small arms typical of Starfighters and Space Transports will do little to deter it, but armaments found aboard Capital Ships may prove effective.
