Zerex began his career as an Imperial supply officer and parlayed that into a career of crime, including spice-smuggling, gambling, and numerous other vices. He realized that he could make much more money- legally, at that- pursuing a career in politics instead, and, after a few years, found himself appointed governor of Ord Adinorr. However, it was not long before he decided that he could make even more money, and work less, if he were a Moff, and so began using his contacts- both criminal and legitimate- to put himself in a position to be appointed to the post when the Meridian Sector's previous Moff "Decided" to retire early. Never satisfied with power, Zerex soon set his sights on the rank of Grand Moff, and, after only a few months, his dream is coming true.
