Rules representing cover getting hit by attacks aimed at it's user.
Hitting cover V1[]
When attack misses a target that has cover, you can use this optional rule to determine whether the cover was struck by the attack:
Determine whether the attack roll would have hit the protected target without the cover. If the attack roll falls within a range low enough to miss the target but high enough to strike the target if there had been no cover, the object used for cover is struck. If a creature/vehicle is providing cover for the missed target and the attack roll exceeds the Reflex Defense of the covering creature/vehicle, the covering creature/vehicle is hit.
Hitting cover V2[]
If you miss a target what has cover, you may then make another roll to hit cover on original target's square instead.
Hitting cover AOE[]
If attack with Area Of Effect (AOE) hits target behind cover, than target's cover is also his with attack's AOE damage.
Under GM's discretion, that may apply to all objects eligible as cover - such as, for example, for artillery levelling all walls in vicinity.
