Eve of Destruction campaign data created by Mathew Steenson.
Eve of Destruction is the name given to a series of 10 linked adventures that Gamemasters can use to create an entire campaign for their players. Set over one thousand years after the Battle of Yavin, the adventurers in the Eve of Destruction campaign are designed to provide players and GMs with the iconic Star Wars Roleplaying Game experience, set against the benevolence of The New Galactic Empire.
The Eve of Destruction campaign takes the heroes all the way from 1st level up to 20th level and features an ongoing storyline that progresses over the course of the campaign. Each adventure can also be played individually and should provide the heroes with ample challenges to gain two levels per adventure. Gamemasters should feel free to use the Eve of Destruction adventures either as an entire campaign or as fillers for their own home campaigns

The Eve of Destruction campaign opens one thousand years after the Battle of Yavin. For five generations the galaxy has known peace, since the establishment of the Empire as a force for galactic defense and the reformation of The Jedi Order and reinstalment of the Jedi Council. Factionalism and crime are at an all time low, thanks to the efforts of Jedi and the backup of an unchallenged military force. Despite the occasional skirmish and act of piracy, the galaxy at large has become a place of peace and prosperity.

The heroes somehow find themselves attempting to gain favor with a local Coruscanti crime lord, Girza the Hutt, either they are mercenaries down on their luck, or Jedi commissioned by the Jedi Council to investigate the criminal underworld. The heroes gather on the Hutt's pleasure cruiser, The Sonic Boom, which is also a multileveled cantina and casino, to petition her for work. Unimpressed, Girza challenges the heroes to run a labyrinth of traps and hostile antique Droids that she has installed on her ship, both for credits and to impress and amuse her.
