Affiliations: The Fringe, The Rebel Alliance, Han Solo

The mighty Chewbacca fights in the Clone Wars to defend The Republic, working closely with Grand Master Yoda. When The Jedi are destroyed by the traitorous Clone Army, Chewbacca decides he is no longer interested in fighting for the Republic. After a brutal battle, he is captured by The Empire and rescued by a young Imperial officer named Han Solo. Moved by Solo's courage, Chewbacca decides that he owes Solo a Life Debt. He promptly attaches himself to Han Solo and follows him everywhere, becoming Solo's closest friend and sometimes conscious.
