Homebrew Reference Book: Clone Wars Saga Edition Fan Sourcebook - Jedi Masters (Part 2)
A rare and often fatal disease, Borotavi Syndrome causes the internal organs to deteriorate and hemorrhage over time. It is often contracted through ingestion of contaminated foods.
Borotavi Syndrome Statistics (CL 15)[]
Keywords: Disease, Ingested
Trigger: A creature is exposed to Borotavi Syndrome.
Attack: +15 vs Fortitude Defense
Damage: 1d6 (-1 Constitution)
Recurrence: Whenever the creature moves down the Condition Track.
Suggested Skills: The following are suggested Skills for this Hazard:
- Constitution (DC 20): If the attack fails when the creature's Constitution and Strength scores aren't penalized by the Borotavi Syndrome, the creature can attempt a Constitution check (one attempt per day, cannot Take 10 or Take 20) to permanently treat their Borotavi Syndrome.
- Endurance (DC Varies): The character checks their roll against the attack roll to become immune for 24 hours, after which time the creature moves -1 step down the Condition Track. If the creature has had a full eight hours of sleep prior to making the check, it may Take 20.
Special: If the attack exceeds the creature's Fortitude Defense by 5 or more, the creature's Constitution score is instead reduced by 2. If the attack instead exceeds the creature's Fortitude Defense by 10 or more, the creature's Constitution score is reduced by 2, and its Strength score is reduced by 1. If at any time the creature’s Strength or Constitution scores are reduced to 0, the creature dies.
If the attack fails by 5 or more, after eight hours of rest, the character regains 1 point of their Constitution score, up to their normal maximum. If the attack fails by 10 or more, after eight hours of rest the creature regains 1 point of their Strength and Constitution scores, up to their normal maximum.
