Homebrew Reference Book: Clone Wars Saga Edition Fan Sourcebook - Locals
Affiliations: The Fringe
The adopted daughter of infochant Didi Oddo, Astri takes an active interest in her father's café, hoping to repay him by making the run-down diner a successful business. Two decades before the Clone Wars, as a young teenager, Astri begins renovating the establishment, in preparation for a famous scientist she had convinced to hold a dinner there, Jenna Zan Arbor. While that private party ended in disaster, Astri had little time to think on it, as an assassin had their sights on her father. Luckily, the intervention of close friends and Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi keep Astri and her father alive.
Unfortunately, her father was shot during the assassin's attack, and overcome by poison. Desperate for an antidote, Astri takes a more active role in helping Padawan Kenobi track the assassin down to the backwater world of Sorrus. Astri learns about the bounty hunter, Ona Nobis, and the trail eventually leads them to Simpla-12, before the duo find Qui-Gon and managed to acquire the antitoxins that Astri's father needed.
Astri later marries Bog Divinian on Euceron. Astri grows accustomed to the extravagant lifestyle Bog provided, especially when he becomes the Senator of Nuralee with the Commerce Guild's backing. Together the couple have a son, Lune Divinian, but Astri grows to realize Bog was not the man she thought he was. While she sticks out her marriage for the sake of her son, Bog's ego and lust for power overwhelm any good in him. Astri comforts herself spending time with her son and working on relief efforts for her adopted world of Nuralee.
Astri attempts to leave Bog many times, but Bog threatens their son and beats Astri, turning her into a shell of her former self, caving to Bog's every wish. Her husband works with Granta Omega and Jenna Zan Arbor, enemies of the Republic, but Astri says nothing, desperate for her son's safety. Luckily, Jedi Kenobi and Skywalker find out about Bog on their own, and are able to reunite Astri with Lune, providing them a measure of safety while Bog is removed from power.
