Affiliations: The Jedi
Ambul was considered a gifted seer by most of her classmates at the Jedi Academy. Everyone one of her visions came true in one form or another. She was to be assigned to the Jedi Seers in the hope that her visions would prepare the order for the future to come. Until, one of her visions foretold the fall of the Republic and Jedi by something or someone steeped in The Dark Side that would corrupt or blind the good. She could not discern who or what this Dark Side source was, only if things continue as they were The Dark Side would corrupt or destroy all that she know.
From that day on Ambul Isum became a Jedi obsessed with saving the Republic and Jedi from this mysterious influence in The Dark Side. To that end, Ambul appealed to the Council of Reassignment to be a Jedi Seeker claiming The Force had intended her to discover the Dark Side source that would corrupt or destroy them all. She could not say where her visions would lead her only that it was far, far, far away from Republic Space.
Since that time, Ambul has lived decades traveling between the stars searching from one world to another. In the pursuit of her one vision she has had many dreams and flashes of insight from The Force. She has done the impossible, finding Lightsabers adrift in space from long lost Jedi Knights whose ships were destroyed.
She even destroyed a Dark Side Site whose essence had corrupted the land and the people who inhabited it. At an end were the years of famine, plague, and war that had torment millions and killed thousands.
Still her vision of the Jedi's and Republic's destruction persisted and so too would she no matter where it took her or what she would have to do to stop it.
Goals[]
The Ambul character was created for a high level adventure in The Unknown Regions. She is a person of interest in the adventure. She is consumed by her most powerful vision and following it wherever it might lead and however she must to fulfill what she believes to be the will of The Force. The nearer she comes to what she saw in her vision, the clearer it becomes.
Use in Play[]
Ambul is a woman who has fallen prey to her obsession for her visions and her overconfidence in her past successes.
