The Force is the backbone of the Star Wars saga, and the battle between the Light Side and Dark Side is what makes everything so captivating. The Jedi represent peace, knowledge, and selflessness, while the Sith embrace power, emotion, and control. The constant tug-of-war between these two sides defines the characters’ paths and often leads to some epic struggles.

It’s not just about good vs. evil, though; it’s about balance and choice. Characters like Anakin Skywalker (who ultimately falls to the Dark Side and becomes Darth Vader) showcase how tempting the Dark Side can be, especially when it promises power to solve personal struggles. Meanwhile, characters like Luke Skywalker and Rey show us that the Light Side is about hope, redemption, and belief in something greater than oneself.

👉 Key Question: If you could choose, which side of the Force would you follow? The Light Side with its discipline and peace, or the Dark Side with its freedom to embrace emotion and power? Or do you believe in balance between the two?

I'm curious if you guys allowed stacked perks/bonuses. Friends in Low Places and Connections both allow you to reduce the cost multiplier for Black Market items. Do you allow those to stack? So, would the multiplier on Restricted goods be eliminated and the multiplier on Military goods be reduced to x2?

When my group and I started playing SAGA around 2015, I recall me and a buddy finding rules on how certain things were much more expensive in the KOTOR Era: Comlinks with Holo-projectors, Hyperdrives that went past x2 and Navicomputers.

I think we had settled on something like those costing four times the base cost, since such things were "state of the art", but never really made much use of those rules.

It's been a very long while, and between the WOTC forums going down and switching PCs I've lost track of a few things. I can't find these "rules" anywhere now. I guess my question is: were there ever rules for that sort of thing? I certainly can't find it in my KOTOR book, or anywhere else for that matter.

The Tarnab species from Star Wars is relatively obscure in the expanded universe but has some interesting characteristics:

He was captured by the Nihil and eventually killed by the Nameless.

5. Role in Canon: The Tarnabs are mentioned sparingly in Star Wars literature and lore, making their appearances limited to specific contexts where their unique characteristics might be needed.

Overall, Tarnabs are one of the lesser-known species in the Star Wars universe, with limited information available about their society, history, or physiology beyond basic descriptions.

Ability Modifiers:

• +2 Constitution: Tarnabs are described as hardy and adapted to harsh environments, suggesting a natural toughness.

• +2 Wisdom: They are portrayed as traditional and possibly spiritually attuned, which could translate into a heightened awareness or insight.

• -2 Intelligence/Charisma: Being a secluded species and not heavily involved in galactic affairs makes Tarnabs less knowledgeable and likeable overall.

Special Abilities:

Why did they make that a One-time only ability?

So, upon my in-depth research of Jedi (and all that meet the requirements) when making a lightsaber, there are special rules of adding in modifications and provides a list.

To be blunt, very few of these modifications are worth anything except a bit of flavor text, with only a few providing any real benefits. I have players that are more technical savvy and would like better options for lightsaber customization.

Are there any alternate rules other dms have used for this step? I'd love to hear different thoughts or homebrew rules used to make the process special.

Does anyone know if dead eye and careful shot work with area attack weapons? I know it says under Aim that aim provides no benefit to area attack weapons but I'm a bit unclear on if that includes the feats effects also.

Has anyone made stats for the AT-ACT yet? I'm toying with the idea of using it as a mobile base in a campaign, like the AT-TE the old clones used in Star Wars Rebels.

How would you go about creating homebrew stats for that?

Is there a list of non-unique vessels that are explicitly used by generic pirates? Obviously nearly anything that isn't unique or so small a run to leave all examples accounted for could wind up in pirate hands, but I'm looking for stuff that explicitly gets used.

What I was wondering is if other users were allowed to edit the Homebrew sections so it'd be as organized as the main pages. Can a beast Int score be raised passed 2? one of my players is using a mount and im not sure how to deal with this. considering that a creature with a score of 3 is sentient, can a player use of there ASI to increase a Creatures ability instead of their own? probably should have asked before had that my mistake. thank you any who can help

What is a droid considered? Now when i say this i mean is it considered an Object? Is it considered a device? and if so would it be a mechanical or electronic device? I can see it being as all of the above tbh be some clarification would be nice considering some feats/skills/abilities say only certain TYPE of thing gets affected and i'd rather my players not make or do something that will BREAK the game.

Okay so basically me and my player are having a problem with how things are WORDED for certain abilities/Feat's specifically:

• Improved Jury-Rig (Improviser Talent Tree)

• Fast Repairs (Outlaw Tech Talent Tree)

• Jury-Rig (Mechanics)

The problem is as follows, Fast repairs states:

Whenever you Jury-Rig an object or Vehicle, the Vehicle gains a number of temporary Hit Points equal to the result of your Mechanics check. Damage is subtracted from these temporary Hit Points first, and temporary Hit Points go away at the conclusion of the encounter.

Jury-Rig states:

You can make temporary repairs to any Disabled mechanical or electronic device, from a simple tool to a complex component. Jury-rigging is a Full-Round Action and requires a successful DC 25 check. If you use a Tool Kit, you gain a +5 Equipment bonus on the check. A jury-rigged device moves +2 steps on the Condition Track and gains 1d8 hit points. At the end of the scene or encounter, the jury-rigged device moves -5 steps along the Condition Track and becomes Disabled again.

Improved Jury-Rig states:

You can use the Jury-Rig application of the Mechanics Skill as a Standard Action instead of as a Full-Round Action. Additionally, you are not required to make a Skill Check to successfully Jury-Rig a device or Vehicle, and the device or Vehicle moves +3 steps on the Condition Track instead of +2.

The question is this:

Would the device/object or vehicle being worked on:

A) Gain Temp. HP's equal to 2D8 because Jury-Rig gives 1D8 and Fast repairs says it "... gains a number of temporary Hit Points equal to the result of your Mechanics check" the result being you roll a 1D8 for Temp. HP's?

OR

B) Gain Temp. HP's equal to 25 because technically the RESULT of the Mechanics would be a DC of 25

OR

C) SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

Ok so here i am tryimg to make a beast of jedi, and something had to go when I was Chopin attributes.

Str: 14 (+4 species) = 18

Dex 10 (-4 Species) =6 ouch but I have a plan.

Con 8 (+2 species ) = 10 again ouch, but hey something had to go.

Int 12 (+2 species) =14 im jedi and I like skills.

Wis: 16

Cha: 18 (-2 species) = 16

The speices is large so thats good "great saber move 8, nat armor +2 Reflex,+5 dmg threshhold)

Yea and here is what i want, by lvl 10 il have i want to make a charging beast with the feats/bonus feats, force training×2(maybe 3 depends on the build), skill focus utf ,deft charge, powerfull charge, fléche and here it get ehmm interesting.

I can go one of two ways here:

1. Power attack,cleave, follow through

Talent on knight at lvl 9 is eather shien (shien deflection no penalty for multipel deflect)

Ore djem so for fluid ripost/falling avalanch.

That is i charge and hit the poor chmuck with twohanded str Bonus +8, powerful charge +5, lightsaber 2d10, battle strike 3-5d6, If it dies i get to hit the next poorbastard with 2d10 +8, crit 17+ one Time per encounter.

Then I have a Swift action left (deft charge) so I activate either shien deflection If they are using blasters, or ripost If they are up close.

Nice and dirty and I like it, its just a horror when I see it in my mind

2. Feats: double attack, follow through

Talent : mobile combatant

So here we go i do the whole charge thing but dont do the cleave thing.

If the guy dies I can still move my whole speed (also I have surge If thats not enough )

This could take me to a new opponent or If rhe first guy dont die the following thing is still the same.

I use my Swift action (deft charge) to activate Mobile combatant

If he moves not only do follow him with my full movement but I also get to do a attack of opportunity If he dont use tumble disingage withdraw, but even If he does i follow him.

Next turn i hit him with the ord 1-2, he dies follow through.

The defence plan is basically the same for both builds.

But on the 2nd one i could go knight lvl 8 (lose a Bonus feat but I could get one of the lightsaber forms, oooor one of them and Combat trance (take 10 force technique on combat trance +3d6 first attack whole encounter "utf skill +19)

In the first build il dip one lvl in force prodigy for force power starting feat.

I might have messed up somewhere in here but I dont think so....

Anyway besides the Reflex and HP i think it might be fun to just explode al over the battle field even If he is kind of a glass Canon.

My question is it within the rules ?
